CAST

Chelsea Boyer
(Lead)
Chelsea is studying Dance along side other creative subjects such as Art. I studied As Dance last year and we both worked together in a duo to create a dance. We worked very well with each other and i was aware of her capabilities in dance. She is a strong performer and willing to give anything ago without any insecurities. I knew she would be the best for the lead as she could project the performance and bring her role to life, and stand out among the dancers.

Emma Smith
Emma was also apart of my last years dance group and I was used to working with her also. She was highly talented in the class and has phenomenal technique in Hip-Hop and Street. Emma is great with choreography and can create a seductive sequence in seconds, I chose her to be a predominant dancer and to help with the choreography of the dances. In 2011, Emma entered a street dance competition sponsored by Schwarzkopf. The auditioning stages took place in Manchester and she had to perform freestyle and learn intense choreography. She went on to win along with the other 9 people and was award a £10,000 prize to be apart of a dance crew and perform around the UK doing magazine interviews and produced dance videos. She got the chance to work with Sysco, a top choreographer so I knew she would be perfect to perform in my video.

Rachael Watkinson
An A-level student who has been dancing since she was young. She saw my advertisement on the big screen and came down to the audition. She performed very well and picked up the choreography quickly.

Holly Proctor
An AS level dancer who showed dedication and determination to learn the difficult choreography in the auditioning process. Holly showed that she wasn't afraid to out step her comfort zone and try new things.

Jessika Holiday
Another As dancer filled in the gap for a girl who dropped out. She brought energy and charisma to the group and was extremely committed! Her style was more contemporary but she didn't hesitate when I was throwing complex Street choreography at her. She was always asking when the next rehearsal was and never failed to bring her costume. An absolute superstar, I couldn't have asked for a better team player.

Emily Straker
Another As Dancer who was fast to pick up the choreography. In an exercise I conducted, to see how confident the girls where, she shined and 'absoloutly went for it' showing me the sassy attitude I wanted to portray in my dance, and what the whole video was about. Emily proved to be a strong performer and kept in time well.
Georgia Roe
A bubbly As dancer who again showed strong commitment to the project. Always practising and keen to learn the next part. I couldn't not have her as a apart of my crew. A definite performer with great use of facial expressions and focus projection.

All the dancers have something different to bring to the project which is what back up dancers should do. After weeks of rehearsing twice a week for an hour we have all grown a strong bond and become a little dancing family. Everybody has become very comfortable around each other and they all give it 100% when they perform.
