FILMING DAY 4

These scenes took place in my Dad's house. I de screwed my chaise longe and squeezed it into the back of my car with just enough space for the camera and costume. When we arrived on location me and the lead set up the scene while I talked through what I wanted from her. I placed the chaise longe central in the shot with an antique wooden dresser behind, propping up a large skull and horns. The wall behind, white, with two thin narrow windows, I draped ivy from each corner to frame the shot and add a sense of earth as the song is about "running the world".

I got the model ready and did her make-up before the shoot took place. We filmed from different angles and heights, the more we filmed the more ideas I had of how to change it slightly, so we just re filmed until I captured what I was picturing.

We then moved upstairs to my Dad's bedroom. I covered the double bed with fur throws to add a sense of luxury and again royalty. In the background hung on the wall was a tapestry which shows the lead challenging religion influencing people to follow her as the leader of this world. The mirrored dressers and large over sized lamps again added luxury and a feeling of vanity. self love and voyeurism.

For the money section I fixed the camera to a tripod and filmed from a high angle. I left the camera rolling while I threw the fake money, I purchased earlier, onto her. This provided interesting movement and the lead reacted well to this by interacting with the prop.
